(June 25, 2005 – April 11, 2017)

“We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan.” — Irving Townsend.

Cooper the Great, Cooper the Fearless, Cooper who brought happiness, joy and magic to countless others … we shall miss you.

See you at the Rainbow Bridge someday … until then old friend.

Love,
Josh, Molly & children of Charlottesville, VA,
Jason & Slava of Chicago, IL,

  5. Remembering your Christmas with us in the cabin in Virginia. You loved the new scents, and you LOVED that big couch 🙂 I miss you, Cooper.

  6. Next week will be one year that you spent your last day with us. I still tear up thinking of that because you were so, so loved, and it was really hard to let you go. You left us so many incredible memories, you beautiful old curmudgeon. I think of you every day.

  7. Cooper, look up Baxter Magee when you get to doggie heaven. He is probably hangin’ with Molly and Brittany.

  8. Although I never had the opportunity to meet you, I know your owner and am positive you were a kind, caring, compassionate and fun loving companion to him as he was to you. You picked a good one and so did he. Peace.
