Dog: Cooper (Lab) – Shenandoah Valley & Charlottesville, Virginia
(June 25, 2005 – April 11, 2017)
“We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan.” — Irving Townsend.
Cooper the Great, Cooper the Fearless, Cooper who brought happiness, joy and magic to countless others … we shall miss you.
See you at the Rainbow Bridge someday … until then old friend.
Love,
Josh, Molly & children of Charlottesville, VA,
Jason & Slava of Chicago, IL,
Stosh of the Shenandoah Valley, VA
We still remember how you’d come to visit us on Saturday mornings, to stay for sleepovers and long walks. You were the best puppy, Cooper, and we’ll always love you.
Your human Jason and I continue to talk about you as if you were with us just yesterday. You were so loved. You still are.
You were so loved, our dearest Cooper.
Remembering you today as you were–always your own.
We ended 2020 remembering that wonderful Christmas we spent with you in a cabin in Virginia. I miss you, Coopie.
Three years, Coopie, and I still think of you every day.
We wish you were with us today, Coopie–it’s a wonderful day in Chicago, and you would have so enjoyed a stroll.J&S
We had pizza–your favorite–remembering you yesterday.
We miss you, Coopie.
Remembering your Christmas with us in the cabin in Virginia. You loved the new scents, and you LOVED that big couch 🙂 I miss you, Cooper.
Next week will be one year that you spent your last day with us. I still tear up thinking of that because you were so, so loved, and it was really hard to let you go. You left us so many incredible memories, you beautiful old curmudgeon. I think of you every day.
“Loved by many, owned by none…”
The weather in Chicago yesterday was the kind Cooper would have so enjoyed.
Thinking of you every day, Coopie. Every single day.
Cooper, you were so lucky to loved by a gentle soul.
Cooper, look up Baxter Magee when you get to doggie heaven. He is probably hangin’ with Molly and Brittany.
He loved his humans, and his humans loved him. And The Sphere.
Although I never had the opportunity to meet you, I know your owner and am positive you were a kind, caring, compassionate and fun loving companion to him as he was to you. You picked a good one and so did he. Peace.
Sweet baby! Cooper, I’ll see you again one day. Love, Aunt Jo Jo
Rest in Peace good dog. Always hard to let them go,
He taught me so much without even knowing it. There is no one like him. There never will be.
Oh Coop..I am so glad you were here to love so many of us. Peace and comfort to all.
Damn Stosh you ok man? This sucks sorry for the loss.
Great dog, sorry to hear Bro.
