Dog - Asher (Shih Tzu)

Dog: Asher (Shih Tzu) – Santa Rosa Beach, FL (May 8, 2004 – May 29, 2020)

Asher Macon Edwards, 16. Born May 8th , 2004 and crossed over the rainbow on June 29, 2020. He was the beloved pet of Joni Alexander. Asher was proceeded in death by his sister Sydni Elizabeth and brother Boo Boo Kitty.

Although to many Asher was a very grumpy old man, he was an angel to his momma. He was stubborn, grouchy and did not share well with others, but to his mom he was her best friend.

He learned quickly how to cuddle, to share kisses and give great hugs. He became a great big brother to Lexie and he learned to even share his water bowl with her. Asher LOVED treats, naptime on the bed, Gigi visits, puppy palace vacations and meeting other doggies.

As he got older he began to slow down and took his time on walks and longer afternoon naps. Although the last couple of years were not his most fun he still managed to cuddle with his sister, navigate his way to his food bowl and most importantly never quit giving his mom a good hug.

Asher was not just a dog, he was truly a fur baby. He made Joni a doggie mom and taught her true love. Life really will not be the same without his grumble & bark.

To all the family and friends who have showed Asher such kindness over the years, THANK YOU! His life was truly a better place because you were in it.

Special thank you: Craig – doggie poppy, Jean-Gigi, Kay & Ralph-KK & Pops, McCosh Family, Cory Alexander, Lynn & Steve Brown, Dean & Mel Edwards, Iresa Powell, Alice & Daniel Gilliard, extended Edwards Family, extended Chesney Family, extended Knox Family, Bilbrey Family, Ashton Family, Hanson Family, Gwynn Atkins, Ann Marie Stippey, Shawna Beeler, Lindsey Orick, Rector Family, my sweet girlfriends from Scripps and doggie sitter Steve.
