Zoey Angelina MacArthur, 15, passed away In her Mommy’s arms June 29, 2019. Zoey was born July 23, 2003 the daughter of Keith & Rene. Zoey loved to play outside and she loved the sun on her face.
Her favorite activities were snuggling, chasing rabbits, or anything that moved, 4 wheeling, fishing, swimming, or just taking a ride with her mom & dad. Her favorite place was camp or anywhere her mom & dad were.
Zoey was the best little girl and did not know she was a d.o.g. She was the giver of kisses, snuggles and unconditional love. She was our comfort when her human brother passed. She was never a pet, she was always our little girl.
Zoey was predeceased by her brother Teddy, her Nana Gretchen, and many other family members. Zoey is survived by her mommy & daddy, her brother Keith, her only niece Gretchen, her Gampie, Grandma & Grandpa. Her great grandma laura and Several Aunts, uncles, cousins and her awesome MVH family. Zoey will especially be missed by her uncle Rickey.
We would like to give an extra special thank you to Dr. Pothoff and his team at Maine veterinary Medical Center. Because of this wonderful team we were blessed to have Zoey 1 yr 10 months longer than we would have.
To Dr. Dewar & his team at Calais Veterinary clinic – You all are wonderful. Thank you for all you have done for Zoey over the years. And to our new found Angels at little River veterinary clinic in Perry, we cannot thank you enough for your kindness and compassion during this most difficult time. We are thankful for you all.
We love you our little princess Zoey. We were the luckiest parents to have you for almost 16 years. You will forever be in our hearts. We know you are at camp with your brother, give him a kiss for us.
Until we meet again, I hope you finally catch that rabbit. A celebration of Zoey’s life will be held at her beloved camp when she is returned to us.
Thank you so much!! Love you!!
Thank you!
Thank you Deb
Beautiful Zoey. You were loved by all those who were blessed to meet you. For someone so small, you were larger than life. As tears stream down my face and I hurt so much for your mom and dad, I am comforted knowing that your brother, Teddy was there waiting for you. Perhaps God knew you would need him there to welcome you so you wouldn’t feel alone in heaven. How lucky they are to have you. You will be very missed. Love you so much and Sandra Dee sends lots of doggy loves too. She will proudly wear the dress in honor of you sweet girl.
I am SO sorry for your loss honey. I lost my cat of 12 years, a year ago this August. I know how difficult it is losing a pet. They are part of the family. I just know she’s up there chasing rabbits. RIP Zoey.
Sweet little Zoey girl… how loved you are. Your mommy and daddy treasured every moment they were blessed to have you in their lives. You taught them so much about unconditional live and how to live life in the moment. You brought such joy onto their lives and your love will continue to grow in their hearts and souls. You helped comfort them through their hardest days and you will be with them forever and ever… until you all reunite and spend eternity together again… take care of your brother and send healing to your mommy and daddy. Your aunties love you so much Zoey girl. Catch those bunnies and be free!! You were blessed little girl to have such a wonderful family and they were blessed to have found such a sweet soul like you in this lifetime. Love you always, auntie Becky and amber
