Murphy LOVED to run after tennis balls! (and did it up to the evening before her passing) Followed closely by, sleeping curled up in a tiny ball under the covers.

She also loved swimming, lounging in the sun (as long as her people were close by) and a good bone. She didn’t much care for thunderstorms and fireworks but, in recent years, sans hearing, they didn’t bother her a bit.

She was so very much loved by us and is now missed beyond words.

… One last word of farewell, Dear Master and Mistress. Whenever you visit my grave, say to yourselves with regret but also with happiness in your hearts at the remembrance of my long happy life with you: “Here lies one who loved us and whom we loved.” No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you, and not all the power of death can keep my spirit from wagging a grateful tail.
