This is our loving tribute to our best buddy, Spinner. He was a gift and best friend to us and lived a happy, stress-free, healthy life for 18 years.

Spinner was a great cat. He had an aura about him that just said ‘I’m cool’. Spin grew up with Rusty (now 19) and accepted his younger feline sibling Groucho,(now 4) with tolerance and dignity (along with a few hisses at first).

Spinner loved to walk around the perimeter of our fenced yard, lay in the grass, sleep in his deck chair and hang out with his best friend, my husband. He trained us well to service and support him, open and close doors and just make his life joyful and fun.

Spin loved to reach out to touch you with his paws as you can see in the picture provided. He would use his front paws to hold your face close to his too. If there was a lap to sit on, he was on it within minutes.

Spin was a very social cat and liked  people and was always around with family and friends. He loved being held like a baby and was constantly purring. He enjoyed tuna and cat treats and cold cuts, especially roast beef and this summer, enjoyed sips of wine and slushies.

Spinner loved his buddy, my husband, best of all.

About 2 years ago, Spinner started to show signs of feline Parkinson’s Disease aging, having litter box challenges and more recently trouble with stairs and balance.

Spinner died with his best friend, in my husband’s arms, at home, and on his own terms.

Spinner, you were such a good boy and we all miss you terribly.  Kisses, hugs, tummy rubs, and pats forever, buddy.
