Dog: Max – Swieqi, Malta (03/2000 – 05/28/2011)
Max was everything to me – my baby, my companion, my friend. Ever since I took him home in a shoe-box, he gave me unconditional love and knew that he was loved in return.
Even when I told him off for getting under my feet, he’d come up to me and lick my hand. I’d give anything now to have him underfoot again. He was a very happy dog with an ever-wagging tail. I used to tell him that one of these days his tail would fall off from over-exertion!
Everybody who came in contact with Max fell in love with him, and he loved everyone in return. He was never happier than when somebody visited and he had somebody else to make a fuss of him. And, if they stopped stroking him, he’d lift their hand with his nose to make them do it again.

Dog: Maggie (Cairn Terrier) – Florida
Maggie was our precious “good daughter” who gave us 15 1/2 years of love and joy.
She was as independent as a cat, but more wonderful than any person we have ever known.
We will always miss our little Angel Maggie.

Dog: Oreo (Shih-Tzu / Poodle) – Deceased pet dog – Ontario, Canada
I feel like I have lost my best friend.
Oreo was a very lovable cuddly little dog, loved and will be missed by everyone that met him.
I will miss Oreo with all my heart. He was always loyal to me.
He could make me laugh and most of all he was my best friend.
I love him so much and will never forget him.

Dog: Precious (English Bulldog) Spring, TX (02/22/2010 – 04/23/2011)
“Precious” (top of photo) was my baby, my companion, my friend. From the very first moment that I laid my eyes on Precious I fell in love with her and spoiled her in every way possible, from buying her a doggy birthday cake to even buying her another English Bulldog “Twinkie” (bottom of photo) for her to play while I was away at work or running errands.
I have never seen anyone enjoy life the way Precious enjoyed it. I remember rocking her to sleep when she was a puppy and all the times she made me laugh. Precious even died doing what she loved, walking.

Molly was the most amazing dog I have ever met. She has been with me since kindergarten and we have grown up together.
I have so many wonderful and happy memories of the times we shared together. Molly’s favourite things included swimming and playing fetch.
Molly became sick in 2008. Her blood disorder made her too lethargic to do any of her favourite things, but she was a fighter.
She lived for three years after that which demonstrates what a strong and courageous dog she was.
Six months before she died we moved to the country. Molly was able to enjoy a short time in her paradise where she could swim and run as much as she wanted.
I will miss Molly with all my heart.
She was always loyal to me, she could make me laugh and most of all she was my best friend.
I love her so much and will never forget her.

Maggie, beloved feline friend and roommate passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011 after a long, cold winter in her old age.
Maggie was the long term resident cat of the house, having lived there with her previous owner for many years before the house was sold to the current owners. She was 27 years old.
She is well-known for her love and tender care for and around kittens and human babies and children.

I have lost two wonderful dogs this month and would like to honor them.
Thank you for letting me honor my two wonderful dogs. They are gone but will never be forgotten.

My dog Chester was the finest beer drinking, mailman chasing dog loyal companion anyone could have ever hoped for.
… But peace, at least, is certain. Peace and long rest for weary old heart and head and limbs, and eternal sleep in the earth I have loved so well …
… One last word of farewell, Dear Master and Mistress. Whenever you visit my grave, say to yourselves with regret but also with happiness in your hearts at the remembrance of my long happy life with you: “Here lies one who loved us and whom we loved” No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you, and not all the power of death can keep my spirit from wagging a grateful tail.
