Guinea Pig: Buffy – Clarksville, IN (Oct 2010 – May 15, 2013)

Buffy was a loving guinea pig who enjoyed cuddles. She was the mother of Ginger.

I was happy to have had her in my life for a little over two years. I wish we could have known each other longer, but it was not to be.

I am thankful for the time we had together.

Cat: Tobey (Black Shorthair) – Hamilton, Ontario (Apr 1995 – Apr 18, 2013)

Our pet cat Tobey was a family member – a Sweetheart.

He loved belly and chin rubs, catnip, playing, eating fish, waking you up early for breakfast, watching out the window at birds and squirrels.

Dog: Jake (Cockapoo) – Toronto, Ontario Canada (1997 – May 6, 2013)

Jake was the sweetest, most loving dog any family could ask for. His tail wagged so fast with happiness when he saw us, we thought was going to take off into the air at any moment.

He was kind and gentle and his soul was the most beautiful thing.

We miss you Jake so much!

Cat: Mutombo (Black American Shorthair) – Avon, CO (2000 to May 2, 2013)

Mutombo, I will miss our lengthy conversations. I will miss the many different expressions of your beautiful green eyes.

I will miss spooning at night and holding your paw while you rub your head against my chin. I will miss chasing you around the house only to lose you under the bed. I will miss coming home to be greeted and sought out for affection because you missed me all day.

I will miss hearing you purr while I stroke your soft fur because you are happy to be with me and warm against my skin.

I will miss your patience, your kindness, your funny personality and midnight crazies. There will never be another Mutombo, another cat with your beautiful spirit.

You are in my heart forever and will never be forgotten for as long as I live. Bless you my dear sweet “bunny bear boy.” You are the light of my heart and I will love you forever.

Dog: Kandie (Mini Poodle) San Luis Potosi, Mexico (Apr 1997 – Apr 21, 2013)

Kandie was the sweetest little dog. He was always at our side.

He was the pet dog at a children’s home called CASA DE NIÑOS, located in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He loved hundreds of children and showed them what love is all about.

He loved us for 16 years and then had to leave. His memory will live on forever and forever in our hearts.

Now he is at the Rainbow Bridge barking, playing and wagging his tail, waiting for us to come one day. Can’t wait for your kisses on my face, Kandie.

I miss you so much.

Dog: Zamie Agler (Died Apr 23, 2013)

Zamie Agler went to heaven today. The time we had with her has filled our hearts with love. She will always be remembered for being such a special surprise.

She always had her tongue stuck out the first time we got her. She had her grumpy times and I was the one that got bit the most but we had our good laughs about it.

We never hurt her, we never spanked her, and she is a big part of my life and I miss her.

Cat: Precious (Maine Coon) – Orlando, FL
(Apr 7, 1999 – Apr 23, 2013)

Dog: Riley (Jack Russell Terrier) – Alabaster, AL (Apr 26, 1998 – Apr 13, 2013)

Riley became a part of my family in May, 1998. He was so full of energy, I actually had to have friends keep him once in a while just so I could get some rest.

He was the best dog. He was the most loyal companion I have ever known. I will always remember the unconditional love he gave me for almost 15 years. I miss him tremendously.

I love you buddy!

Cat: Smokey (Died 2013)

Smokey was a stray kitten that I took home in 1998. Little did I know he’d be my buddy for 15 years.

He had a happy, healthy life and will always be in my heart.  He lost his shepherd/mix companion last May and got to be the sole baby of the house for a short while.

Miss you Smokey Joe.

Dog: Merlin (Great Dane) – Olivehurst CA (Feb 3, 2003 – Apr 2, 2013)

Merlin came to be a part of our family at 8 weeks old. He was nothing but all feet and a big heart was 1 very smart puppy.

He loved everyone and everything Merlin would stand for hours looking at the ground for bugs, and would bring me baby pigeons that would fall out the tree, wanting me to help them he was so gentle with them.

He had a very big sweet tooth and loved Halloween, as he would trick or treat along with the kids as well as Christmas and all the other Holidays and of course his Birthday.

Merlin never had a mean bone in his body. He brought so much joy to our family.

He will forever be in our hearts ….

I love you Merlin – till we meet again my buddy.
